Empty

Time and space travel together.
They have become feuding foes.

Sarcastically, giving me more
room to mural in vacant halls.
Like a jack-o-lanterns on the day after
Halloween; the hollow smile of a disengaged
adult, punctured eyes which are batty within
pitch black cold hearts.  Free and untamed...

There was one lit candle and soon
it would go out as death itself.
The shell is nice and round, but
take a peek inside and you will
find there is nothing.

A dark room grown into.
A smudged window few care to view.
No one to come home to.

Although space hasn’t any options,
and time no choice. I choose the
who’s, where’s and what’s I void.

Unless, I am the lesser of the greater.
