Diamond Skies (poetry in a minute)

Crown me with thorns if love is a lie
For romance dawns upon a doubting lark
May ruffled petals, soar gentle as butterflies
As I lure myself into an endless part
Crown me with thorns if love is a lie
The blue night whispers the ocean to rise
A fistful of shards from my heart departs
As the sun blooms before the eye
I shall feel, what I have sought
Crown me with thorns if love is a lie
For the green harvest I have embarked
And the mystery of it shall not be sly
My veil has been lifted within the dark
There will be no questions as to why
Crown me with thorns if love is a lie
