Imagery ( 1 minute free verse)

When the tree saps- a lime rapture
Strike the coals, coat the rain
There is one- risen through emerald water
One trinity amongst a shrine of three
Lantern with me, my fair share
Pass it about like diamonds in a star
I have made it thus far, it has made me
Better the sovereign seat of a nun’s gown
For I shall wed someday
In a metaphorical matrimony
But, there I will be
Come in and welcome me
Peacock feathers, purple, blue and green
Clipped angel wings that walk the earth
The honey bee does not sting, yet she does
Buzz in winter, fall and spring- warmth
So true and tender
My peace sits high on your mountain top
