Ageless Beauty

Haunting beauty, give me thou hand
This shell has betrayed my immaculate plan
At night, you howl for me in a far off land
We have become strangers in the burning sands

If potions and lotions shall keep me awake
Than I shall store them up for a thousand decades
And my foe shall befriend but the mirror repays
As he teeters upon my window in youthful gaze

For there are no limits to endless time
Like drinking the finest vintage wine
I fear this reflection may do me too kind
Who argues I have committed a senseless crime?

Than I am guilty; a prisoner in vain
No moles, no freckles to hide in the rain
To grow old gracefully is worthless pain
My flaws have been lifted; I bare you no shame
